Both wires are twisted with barbs at regular spacing. The barbs deter people and animals from climbing over or pushing through, so barbed wire is most often fitted along the top of a fence.

Twisted galvanised barbed wire for general fencing, farm boundaries and temporary site security. The galvanised finish gives good everyday corrosion resistance and is the economical choice for most farm and site uses.
