Existing building sometimes experience excessive settlement or bearing failure under their design loads or the existing building’s load is to be increase from structural expansion. The foundation of these building needs to be strengthened. Due to the building already in use and restrained space, the addition of micro piles to existing pile caps are the only way to strengthen the foundation without any or much disruption to the existing building. Our smallest drill frame is just 1m long, 600mm wide and 2.5m high which can be anchored into the ground or any structure rendering it useful for constrained sites with low headroom. Our small drilling rig is applicable in almost all cases with just the rig drilling in the pile point connected to our modified powerful hydraulic power-pack outside the building. Where a man can enter, it is possible for us to install a micro pile there.
